A resurgent Medvedev claimed his initial title for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the competition final.
The athlete, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a difficult year, managing just one win at the Grand Slams and experiencing a setback at the American major.
His unpredictability on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serving in especial - resulted in him exiting of the elite rankings and ultimately splitting with long-time mentor Cervara.
Currently working with Johansson and his other coach, Medvedev has gradually improved in the recent weeks - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over challenger Moutet.
It is his first trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard court after March of the previous year.

"For the first time I am participating in a competition with my both daughters together, so to get a trophy is really nice," said tennis professional the champion.
"This victory is in honour of my child Victoria, because the initial championship I achieved when my older daughter my daughter was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had been defeated in his past six championship matches, comprising in the German tournament in the past months.
His defensive play style and regular emotional displays on the playing surface had caused observers to wonder if his ability to perform at the highest level was finished.
However the athlete has made changes in recent weeks, attempting to advance forward and compete aggressively, supported by an better serve.
The champion recovered from a deficit in the initial set against the challenging opponent, securing four of the last five games to gain the advantage.
Both players exchanged service breaks in the following set before the challenger, striving for his initial professional title, seized the initiative to create a third set.
The opponent defended 4 initial chances in a close third set before the champion won the break to 15 to close out the victory.
Fittingly, he secured the title with a point at the net, with the Frenchman unable to handle a volley after a lengthy match.
